Students arrive in college capable and motivated—but often without the foundational academic habits, learning strategies, and prior knowledge needed to fully engage with the pace and rigor of college-level learning.
The Collaborators Community brings educators together to address this challenge.
Collaborators implement the Are You Ready for College program with their students while helping develop new readiness tools that prepare students to succeed in specific disciplines.
Together, we are building a growing ecosystem of practical learning resources that support students from the first day of class through graduation and beyond.

Develop Readiness Courses for Your Discipline
Collaborators also have the opportunity to develop discipline-specific readiness courses designed to help students enter their fields with greater confidence and preparation.

Are You Ready for Business
Are You Ready for Engineering
These courses provide students with the background knowledge, academic expectations, and learning strategies needed to engage more fully with college-level instruction.
Shared Modules and Course Development Resources
Collaborators have access to existing Are You Ready modules that address foundational academic success skills.
These modules can be incorporated into the course creation process while faculty focus on developing the discipline-specific content their students need.

This shared resource model allows faculty to build new readiness tools efficiently while maintaining consistency across the Are You Ready ecosystem.
Publishing Support Through Ruby Tree Publishing
Collaborators who develop readiness tools have the opportunity to publish their courses through Ruby Tree Publishing on the Ruby Tree Learning platform.
Our team supports educators throughout the publishing process, helping them transform their expertise into practical learning tools that can benefit students across institutions.
This model allows faculty to extend the reach of their work while contributing to a growing collection of academic readiness resources.

Beginning in 2027, the Collaborators Community will host its first annual Collaborators Events.
These gatherings will bring together educators committed to improving student success through innovation and collaboration.
Events may include:
• One-day collaborative workshops
• Conferences focused on student readiness and academic success
• Writers’ retreats for faculty developing new readiness courses
