ABOUT ME:
Hi everyone, my name is Miya! I am a current senior at Prairie View A&M University where I major in biology and minor in music. I’m dedicated to making change within my Dallas community, which is why I am working on becoming a Pediatrician. I also have a strong passion for photography and music. In high school, I was the section leader of the drumline for two years, and now, I am the leader of the media team for PV’s Marching Storm band and one of the principal percussionists for the Wind Ensemble. I’ve assisted students with applying to college, selecting majors, and preparing for rigorous coursework. Due to my past experiences, it has prepared me to tutor in the following areas: Study Strategies, College Applications & Essays, Algebra, Biology, Health, English Composition, American Literature, and Music. I can’t wait to help you get to the next level!
